January
I continued my Professional Higher Diploma course in the College. The number of students has
fallen to four as many student left because they can't cope with the academic pressure.
March
I filled the UCAS form (which everyone has to complete to apply for a University place).
My choice of universities are Hope , University of Liverpool, and JMU - all for IT courses.
May
I gained admission for all three Universities! They are anxious to get the fees from International
students like me ! I chose Hope University because it's so close to home. There was some drama about gaining
entry into the second year, despite the fact that I'd already completed one year of HE studies at the college. As usual,
a refusal to accept defeat paid off! We went on holiday for two weeks to a rural area -
the Cotswolds in the south of England and we went to see the oldest castle in the region- Blenheim Palace.

June
Completed my HPD course,
Africa Oye this year is the best I ever went to especially the music and the weather - a lot
of raggae music and plenty of sunshine!
July
I celebrated my birthday in Liverpool . I went to an Indian restaurant called
Maharaja with Nina - it was really nice.
Nina had her last day in the College as she has taken Voluntary Redundancy(VR). She's really
happy about it.

August
We celbrated Nina's birth day in a beautiful place after Nina saw the review of the restaurant
in the Guardian Newspaper. A couple of friends came along with us.
We went on to London for a week, and stayed in Charlotte's flat. We went to see
the London Eye,( which is a huge wheel which you can ride on and see all over London) ,art galleries, a tour
of london by boat which was nice and we went down to Eastbourne on the South coast, to see Nigel where he was living
in a caravan, and also were with Carole and Charllotte.

September
Our friends Maggie and Kieran got married, we went to the reception in Hope Street Hotel Liverpool
which was cool... Enrolled in Hope University to do an IT degree

November
Home Office returned my Visa application requesting more information about my finances. I
was devastated with that. However I managed to get all they asked for ( which was very difficult!) and sent it back to them.
December
We had a lovely Christmas celebration with Eleanor, Takiyah, Pauline and her children
which was really nice.
I really wanted to go to Nigeria for Sallah but my passport was still with the Home Office.
