We went to see the Womens 10k race in Liverpool. Women come from all over the country and
sometimes from abroad to join it. Nina's friend Naomi is participating. We cheered her on and had a good reception
in Nina's house after the race.
Completed my Advanced Diploma in IT in the College
July
I celebrated my birthday combined with that of Sue in a very nice simple South Africa restaurant
on the Wirral, which is across the River Mersey from Liverpool. There is a long tunnel which goes under the river to join
the two regions together by road and rail.
August
We celebrated Nina's birth day at home couple of friend come over..
We went on Holidays to Potugal for 2wks. Our friends from Spain Helena and Steve joined us
in Portugal for a week and another friends Maggie and Keron Joined us for the second week
September
Got approval for another year's bursary in the College which is almost 1.5 million Naira!!!
Enrolled into another course in IT - Higher Professional Diploma in IT Management in the same
Centre.
December
I Applied for extension to my Visa from the Home Office. It was approved , to my great relief
and after a lot of paperwork and waiting.We celebrated Christmas at home with friends
and lots of food, such as turkey and Christmas pudding.
